The Clear Skies List was the original list of registered microgeneration products and installers that could be used when applying for microgeneration grant funding.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme has now replaced the Clear Skies List. All Clear Skies registered products were removed from the MCS website on the 31st December 2009.
Manufacturers and Installers that were registered on the old Clear Skies list but are not MCS certified may not be used to access grants under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme, with the current exception for Micro Hydro as there currently is no MCS standard.
The list of manufacturers on this site currently contains details of those certified under the MCS and those that are on the MCS Transition List.
If you are a manufacturer or installer and wish to become MCS certified, please refer to an MCS Certification Body for details on how to apply.
