About MCS

MCS is a mark of quality and demonstrates
compliance to industry standards that companies
strive to meet. It highlights to consumers that
companies are able to consistently install or
manufacture to the highest quality every time.

DECC have made announcements regarding the non-domestic RHI and domestic RHI, including confirmation of the degression to the biomass domestic RHI tariff. The full announcements can be read at the links below:

Non-domestic: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/rhi-mechanism-for-budget-management-estimated-commitments

Domestic: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/domestic-rhi-mechanism-for-budget-management-estimated-commitments

This degression would only apply to applications submitted from 1st January 2015 by new applicants. Those already receiving payments will not be affected, neither will legacy applicants (those who installed before  9 April 2014). We would remind those with consumers in the legacy group, that they have until 8 April 2015 in which to apply to Ofgem; after which the window for legacy applicants will close.
