DECC Announcement


The rate for the PV Feed in Tariff is set to be reduced from 1st July 2013. 

NHBC are developing a new Standards Chapter for Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems setting out appropriate benchmarks and guidance for design, materials and installation. 

On 26th March 2013, DECC made a formal announcement confirming that domestic RHI had been postponed until Spring 2014. There will be a further update in Summer 2013 to clarify how the RHI will operate once launched.

Consultation on heat pump product performance requirements

The MCS heat pumps working group is seeking comments on proposed changes to the product performance requirements for heat pumps.

Notification of technical requirements following the issue of Engineering Recommendation G83/2.

In November 2012 Ofgem issued a decision document relating to the modification proposal to the Distribution Code for the revision of Engineering Recommendation G83/1-1. Ofgem directed that on 1 December 2012 G83/1-1 be replaced by G83/2.
