MCS has today issued a request for comments on the draft MCS 006 small wind product standard and the RUK small wind standard.

The new PV Guide has today been released, alongside a newly updated MIS 3002 Issue 3.0 which reflects the changes in the new PV Guide.

The new PV Guide has been a long time coming and is the culmination of over two years work from the MCS Solar PV Working Group, together with support from the Electrical Contractors Association (the ECA), to improve the guidance for installation companies and the standards for PV installations across the UK. It contains a number of new sections which bring the previous DTi Guide up to speed with newer technologies and the fast paced changes in the PV sector.

In February/March 2013, the Solar Power UK Roadshows will focus on restarting the market!  A series of seven, half-day events taking place in locations across the UK will look at how to improve the way you sell and promote your solar business.

MCS has today launched a new standard which outlines the requirements for MCS installer companies who also wish to install microgeneration measures under the Green Deal.

The rate for the Feed in Tariff is set to remain at 15.44p/kWh until the 1st May 2013.
