About MCS

MCS is a mark of quality and demonstrates
compliance to industry standards that companies
strive to meet. It highlights to consumers that
companies are able to consistently install or
manufacture to the highest quality every time.

Following the successful prosecution of a solar panel firm by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), we would like to remind all MCS installation companies that they should ensure they are fully complying with all aspects of health and safety legislation.

MCS has published an update to the MCS biomass calculator (version 1.4). This version of the calculator is available to download here.

Energy Saving Trust will be running an online webinar on 'Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and consequences for micorgeneration sales' which will be held on 29th January 2015 from 9:00am - 9:45am.

Between Monday 22nd December 2014 and Friday 2nd January 2015, MCS will be operating its helpdesk at reduced hours. Please see the table below for further information.

EST and Ofgem would like to extend an invitation to all MCS installers to join their webinar to learn more about the proposed changes to the domestic RHI. Further details can be found below.

DECC have made announcements regarding the non-domestic RHI and domestic RHI, including confirmation of the degression to the biomass domestic RHI tariff. The full announcements can be read at the links below:
