Installers & Manufacturers

In this area of the website you can find information on the scheme benefits, the certification process for installers and manufacturers and Certification Body details. Signing up for news and alerts here means you will receive an email update when scheme documentation or management is updated or changed.

We also recommend installers to visit the Important Installer Information section, where we provide important information on the Distributed Network Operator (DNO) requirements, planning considerations and metering regulations.

Those wishing to become a MCS certified installer, or to have their products certified under the scheme, must do so by applying to a MCS Certification Body. Installers and product manufacturers may select which MCS Certification Body they apply to to become certified. More information can be found in the installer certification and product certification sections of this website.
