Guide to the installation of Solar Systems due to be published imminently!

The revision to the DTi Guide for the installation of PV systems is due to completed and published imminently and we will be writing to all installation companies for Solar PV with news of the release on publication.

MIS 3001 and MCS 004 Consultation now open
24th August 2012

We are pleased to announce that the consultation for MIS3001 and MCS004 standards for Solar Heating is now open. The consultation will close on 24th September 2012 at 5pm. Read more

Response to Criteria objections
3rd August 2012

The recent MCS criteria cosultation closed on Monday 23rd July, we are now reading through each of the responses and listening to the feedback we have received through the process. In September we will announce the next steps and any plans in relation to the project. Read more

Publication of test data for MCS certified small wind turbines
2nd August 2012

Following enquiries regarding compliance with the aspect of the MCS Wind Turbine product standard that requires publication of performance data, we are pleased to announce that we are now able to confirm full compliance with this requirement. Read more

Update to the MCS biomass standards
1st August 2012

The MCS Biomass installer and product standards have been updated. The latest versions can be viewed by visiting the MCS website, and visiting the Installers & Manufacturerssection of this website. Read more

New complaints guidance
1st August 2012

MCS has released guidelines for anyone wishing to submit a complaint regarding the scheme or MCS installer companies and products. Read more
